Sir Douglas Haig reports in minor operations this morning eastward of Epehv, the English troops successfully advanced their line after heavy fighting. Strong opposition was encountered at all points and later the enemy launched a number of . counter-at-tacks in considerable strength. Despite resistance we substantially progressed on the whole front of attack.
Sir Douglas Haig states on Saturday substantial progress was made by ail attack oast of Epeliy. In conjunction with this attack the Australians further progressed in the Hagicourt sector, taking prisoners.
