In the Reichstag, Antrist Matzinga drew attention to tho grave food situation. Tho Socialist, Weaes, said that certain circles, including the Kaiser, had no idea of the misery of the masses, forty-seven per cent whereof earned under four marks daily. The shortening of the war would be a greater economic gain than to conquer any province.
