situation at zeebrugge
LONDON, Mnv 23.
The authorities state that ourTierial photographs within the last few days reveal a satisfactory situation at Zeebrugge. The Germans are evidently unable to remove the obstacles, and are now cutting away some piers at the canal’s en. trance with a view to making a new Channel and outflanking the obstructions, but the position of the itietis causes the throwing up of silt and makes the latter operation difficult. The photographs show that tho number of destroyers, torpedo boats, and submarines in Ostend and Bruges Canal are the same as before the raid, this proving that the vessels are immobilised.
