DOROTHY DALTON, MONDAY
On Monday evening one of the strongest plays ever produced by the Triangle Company “ The Dark Road ” will feature Dorothy Dalton in the part of a modern siren who believes herself the reincarnation of Cleopatra. As the siren, Miss Dalton contributes a vivid delineation to the screen. Magnificent gowns, indicating the temperament, of Cleo Munson, are worn throughout f lie production. Devoid of ideals and nil| sense of honor, when her husband goes to France to take his part in the great war, she makes indolent love to his younger brother Cedric. Later on the lad. too. responds to his country’s need, so she turns to a man who, in the guise of a Spanish art collector, is acting as a spy for Germany. Cleo is infatuated with him, aud through her indiscretion he obtains news pertaining to the movements of the English in France. After a series of dramatic incidents, Captain Murison learns of his wife’s duplicity and returns to take revenge upon her and her lover.
