THREE FIRES, AT COKER’S HOTEL

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 19. I No fewer that three firo s were discovered in Coker’s Hotel, one of the largest in Christchurch, to-night which is situated near the scene of this morning’s fatal outbreak. The first was in the Dining room, hut was of small dimensions, and easily extinguished. Later a lire was discovered in an oc--1 eupiod bedroom on the first floor, the burning bedding from which was found •at the bottom of the back stairway ! where it had kindled and caused an- | other incipient fire. Neither of the , three outbreaks resulted in much damage, but in view of recent happenings , they lead to the belief that an ineendiar ist is at work.
ANOTHER OUTBREAK. CTIRfSTCTII'URCir, This Day Shortly after midnight another fire was discovered in Coker s Hotel. The bedding of a bedroom was alight. The outbreak wa' s quickly overcome. On the departure of the Eire Brigade, members of the police force took Hie building uqdor their care.
