PEERLESS PICTURES. TO-NIGHT— “THE VALLEY OF DECISION. The special feature of tin new programme to he screened at the Peerless Pictures, this evening is a mutual star production in live big reels entitled “The Valley of Decision” in in which the eminent American actor Richard Bennett wins for himself a prominent position among screen artists of to-day. “The Valiev of Decision” is a problem play and is the only parallel picture with “Where are mv Children” and it is a problem which is facing the whole world to-day. It is a problem which the picture industry .has handled fearlessly, The Problem of Birth Control; hut this picture deals with the subject from a now standpoint and a more human and possible stand- | point than usual. Every man and woman should see how to face this great question. It is a poignantly pathetic, but powerful pla.v and true to nature and shows how God’s plan is wrecked by selfishness and it is n‘ splendid drama with a big moral lesson. Be. no, afraid, we fearlessly screen it. The supporting programme will lie of the usual high order with the full orchestra will complete the evening entertainment. POLLAJRD’S PICTURES.

On next Thursday evening at the Princess Theatre Pollard’s will submit one of his most powerful double bill picture programmes, when French films of the war, taken by Captain Thompson, who went so close to the danger zone that his daring resulted in the loss of an e.ve and part of his skull. These groat films were taken by v the French camera man—Capt Thompson—with the sole object of showing the truth about the war, easily demonstrating that the Allies are winning. Wonderful scenes taken by Captain Thompson 10,000 feet up in the air, with a French aviator. The aeroplane carrying the camera took part in an aerial battle. 2400 aeroplanes handled in one station are filmed and Captain Thompson succeeded in snapping the whole of the Allied air fleet in the air at one time. Many of the scenes °f the actual fighting have been taken less than 40 feet from the German lines. Bv way of a brighter vision, Douglas Fairbanks, will ho featured in ;i picture that is out of the ordinary, “The -Mystery of the Leaping Fish,” shows Douglas as a “D” setting about mystery solving in a 2000 ft Triangle Coined r.
