THE HOUSE.

The House met at 2.30 p.m. In the House the Expeditionary ,Forces Amendment Bill wa s received j with (amendments from the Legislative Council, consideration of which was set down for the next sitting day. Hon. Han an introduced the Statute Land Amendment Bill with amendment* in various directions of tho "Education Act 1914.

The Prisons Act, Counties Act, Defence Act, Land Allotments, Finance Act, Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, Registration of Trade and Commerce Act, and the Registration of Aliens Bill passed all stages, with amendments.

The House rose at 11 10 p.m., till 2.30 o’clock on Monday afternoon.
