Two regiments of Guards captured in the Aisne battle, including the Fifty-fifths, regarded as of the elte, the men whereof passes certificates attesting that they hnd repelled twenty-one attacks, and thcefore ineritited the title of "Invincible.”

A French communique says the situation. north of the 'Aisne in the sector of Braye, Enlaonnis and Chavig is now unchanged.
At night time we advanced on the Chavignon—Montdlsinfes front, and reached Nozny farm. We prisonlered over five hundred here since last night. An enemy surprise atitack at Sapigneul bridgehead, preceded by a violent bombardment failed. Twenty-five enemy aeroplanes were downed.
