The “Arbeiter ZeitungV’ Vienna correspondent reports that the Ringhoffer Metal Works have been idle a | week, owing to 4,000 striking, until j the military introduioed 300 skilled" metal workers as strike breakers. SHORTAGE- OF PAPER. AMSTERDAM, Aug. '2B. Lank Paper Company in Germany has compelled »the publishers of school books not to print new editions. When ' the stock is exhausted at Christmas the schools will become bookless.
