HOKITIKA HARBOUR BOARD
MONDAY, AUGUST, 37th
A special meeting was held at 2.30. p.m. Present —Messrs R. Wild (Chairman),- McGregor, Chapman, Norman, and Mclntosh,. It was resolved to take ordinary business and a small quantity of routine matters wore dealt with. The Chairman then moved—“ That the sum of £SOO, accruing from Messrs Butler Bros. Ltd. from tho sale of the Harbour Board endowment Reserve, bo invested in 5 percent war Bonds.” Seoonded by; Mr McGregor and u».ried.
' Mr Norman stated he only agreed to the motion on the understanding that the money waa available, and had not to be borrowed. This concluded the business.
