Tlie British Socialist Party have prepared a statement for submission to the inter-Allied Socialist Conference next week. It calls on workers to intervene to bring the war to a speedy conclusion, and to utilise tho economic and political situation to bring about the. transition from capitalism to cooperation. It demands peace without annexation and indemnity and that reparation bo made from a common fund, under international control, whereto all bellig erents shall contribute, for restoring Belgium. An essential to peace is that Alsace Lorraine should determine its own government and Poland and Armenia similarly, while the Balkans should form a confederation. Turkey should have Mesopotamia and Germniry regain her colonies.
Tho Manifesto opposes economic interference in German trade and declares its hostility to tariff barriers It favours a league of nations to determine disputes.
