JUMBLE SALE.
A ' Jumible Sale and Shop Day, organised by tihie Ladies' Guild was held
at St. Paul's Anglican Qhurchroom, Waiwhetu, on Saturday last when, afiter meeting expenses, the sum of £24/10/10 was realised.
Considering the constant appeal for jumble' foT many different objects, the result more than exceeded expectations .and special t&anks are.due to all those wlro made a point of sending something to help the saTe forward. •
A considerable sum is 'necessary tx> an extra room at St. Paul's ! which is urgently needed for. general purposes and for the already overcrowded Sunday school. The present i effort goes some way towards the sum reqiiired and t>he Ladies ' Guild propose to hold anotiher sale later in the year with a view to raising the balance. The collection of jumble can be arranged for at any time by eommunicat- • ing with any member of the Ladies* Guild or telephoning Mrs. C. B. Robinson 124, Mts Frank Thessman 808, or Mrs T-hurlow Thompson, 600.
