FREE KINDERGARTEN
The montly meeting of the Free Kindergarten was/held in the Hall on Thiursday June 12th., and in spite of the bad weather there was a good attendance. A successful dance was held
in the Hutt Park-Pavilion on June 2nd and. a hearty vote of thanks was passed to all those who so generously gave their help. Mr. Paris for printing notices, Ladies who cooked and Mrsw Baker for donation of prizes for Monte-Carlo. The Principal reported that the school work was proceeding satisf aefcbrily, and fcbat there was vacancies for ten more pupils. The electric heaters were quite adequate to keep the room warm so that once the children were inside, they were quite comfortable: Mrs. Me- Kay, wto wrfch the aid of Miss Bartosh, has undertaken to provide a concert to augment the funds, was present and was heartily received. She made known iher wants and everyone present willingly offered their services where ever titey were required. We would like to see this con cert very well patronised, not only for the sake of the monetary, help? but for the pleasure which the splendid pro.gramme will provide for all who are fortunate enoiigihi to be aible to attend.
