A LINEN TEA.

On Friday last, Miss: Patsy Matt-hews gave a most delightful linen-tea in honour of Miss Hansell, whose marriage to the Rev. W. E. Davics takes place so'soon now. The afternoon was really a combination of a* linen tea and. bridge party. Miss Matthews received-, her guests in a charming frock of pink floral georgette, while the guest of t>he •afternoon' wre a suit wine crepe de chine, with wine* coloured hat. Mrs Matthews'. • frock was of black floral crepe de chine, with wiaich. s-he wore a black coat, and Mrs. Hansell's frock was of navy figured crepe-de-chine, with a navy hat.
