AX AFTEENOON.
A Cradle Troll afternoon wag. recently held under the auspices of the Hutt W.C.T.TL, Miss C. Kirk; J.P., of Wellington, was the speaker arid her talk of her experiences as J.P was most interesting and "instructive. She considers that almost .invariably the lack of honesty, in juvenile deliquents- is: due to deficient early training. She also touched on the alcohol question. During the afternoon Miss Page read excerpts
from Fay Inchfawp and, Mrs Aldersley and the Misses Spencer and Wood. A hearty, vote of thanks to..tie speaker was proposed and tea brought a very enjoyable, afternoon to a close. -,
