During the' week-end Featherston Tennis Club were visitors to the local courts where the annual return matches were played.. The following are the results, whieii show the local players to bo easy winners:—

On Saturday evening a most enjoyable social and dance was iheld in the club's pavilion. The untiring efforts of the committee to make the function such a success were greatly appreciated. The Section's thanks are due to Misa I. Davidson for the.arranging of a delightful supper and the willing helpers who assisted her.
