HUTT v. OTAEE,

The return match with Otaki was played^ on Hutt No. 2 ground on Saturday under ideal conditions. Otaki won the toss and elected to play with the sun behind them during the first spell. The game opened at a fast pace, Otaki attacking strongly; the Hutt 'backs relieved and play went to the other end. Otaki were not allowing the reds' to stay "in their «half long however, and started a fine comlbined movement, to which Edwards put the finishing touch.

Mr. McCa-w replied t-hanking the Hutt Club -for its hospitality and thoroughly enjoyable game. He stated that the local club had done a lot of hockey in the Otaki district, commencing with a match at Otaki two years ago when Hutt were defeated by the odd goal in three.
