HUTT RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB
ANNUAL DANCE
That the dances held under the auspices of the above club are always eagerly looked forward to by lovers of the light fantastic, was again eyi- • denced by the very large attendance at the annual dance held in King George Dance Hall on Wednesday evening last. The hall, which was very tastefully and artistically decorated, reflected the highest credit on those respon- ' sible—-Messrs T. La Roche, R. Synott, J. McKay, R. 3>. Smith and W. 'Morrison. The ladies' committee, whici comprised Mesdanres-., W. Morrison, Alexander, Ross, R. Smith, ATmstrong, and La Roche, worked assiduously to make the evening successful, and the supper arrangements were excellent. The chaperons for the evening were Lady Roberts and Mrs McNaught. An apology was rceived from Mrs T. King.
A feature of the evening, was the music .supplied by George's. Orchestra from Levin, and at the . conclusion of tie dance the orchestra was accorded a very hearty round of applause.
