HUTT BOWLING, TENNIS and CROQUET CLUB DANCE.
A very successful dance arranged by the Hutt Bowling, Tennis and Croquet Club was held in King George Dance Hall on Tuesday evening 11th inst. A local orchestra dispensed bright and at: tractive music. The catering was carried out by the ladies of the club under the direction of Mesdames Hendry and Upton. The Club's thanks are due to the ladies for providing the cakes and to Mr J. Keir who donated the fruit salad.
The Club's colours of red and blue were very effectively used in streamers to decorate the Hall. The following committee was responsible for carrying out the arrangements:—Mesdames Upton, Eddie, Hendry, the Misses Hendry, J. Davidson, Messrs J. Kennington, J. Campbell, J. Stonehouse, Newell, J. Keir, Upton and Hayes.

Power, sequin model; Mrs King, black and silver model frock; Mrs. Upton, pretty frock in satin; Mrs. Kennington, royal blue with applique; Mrs Ayson, pale pink floral frock; Mrs Suteliffe, black frock, pretty shawl; Mrs. Alexander, cream beaded model frock; Mrs. Wilson, cycleman satin frock, Mrs An--drews, primrose satin, Mrs. Wallace pretty black frock; Mrs Tressider blue satin beaded frock; Miss Ritchie (Hastings), lemon figured satin; Miss Garrett, lemon beaded frock; Miss Dumphy, dainty pink frock; Miss Hendry, cream and blue with beaded shawl; Miss Brooks blue velvet frock; Miss Ayson, yellow frock beaded; Miss Holland, pale heliotrope frock; Miss Taylor, black lace and net; Miss O'Brien, white satin; Miss Hazeldine, blue ninon; F.
