Bebe Daniels in "SHE'S A SHIEE:" A beautiful brunette, in love with, a handsome hero, who's equally in love with a ravishing blonde—and a hard-boiled Sahara Herman, intent on i marrying the Sheik's daughter! Louise Fazenda. becomes a Blonde in "CRADI*E SNATCHEBS" Louise Fazenda, undergoes a complete transformation in "Cradle Snatchers," a Howard Hawks production for Fox Films. In this picture Mr Hawks wanted a dazzling blonde to. play the part of Susan Martin. Miss Fazenda, while dazzling, is not blonde. So the director ordered the smartest bloade wig in Hollywood and told the hairdressers to do their stuff. The result was pleasing, sta-rtling and wholly satisfactory. It was the first time the dashing little comedienne had worn such trappings. She was amazed at th& change.
In "Cradle Snatchers" Miss Fazenda has the role of one of three wives who discover that their husbands have taken three blondes on a trip to the country instead of going fishing on " a launch. A»d it is she "'who-hires three college boys to act a.«j sheiks to arouse the husbands' jealousies. The complications which follow are the funniest ever staged and had Broadway audiences shouting with laughter.
"OIiD SAN TRANOISCO" "Old San Francisco," the Warner Bros, extended run production which portrays the lurid days of Chinatown and the Barbary Coast, before and during the "G-reat Fire," is acclaimed as one of the finest melodramas of the crr>7ieration.
