FRIGIDAIRE
'WHAT IT MEANS TO THE COMMUNITY. The importance of applying up-.to--date hygenie methods in an establishment which calls for cleanliness more co than any other business, where foodstuffs and perishable goods are being continually displayed and exposed for sale, is a factor .which -cannot fail to cause considerable concern on the part of the general public who *ely upon such goods for their existence.
Whether it be butchers' shops, grocery; stores, cooked meat shops, there is always a; danger in the possibility of having perishable goods supplied which are not dependable and wholesome.
Quality food is a plus factor —an added purity, richness, succulence, flavour, aroma— r all fleeting and highly perishable. . A degree or two of unsuspected heat, destroys them.
Thei*e is nothing that appeals more to the pnblie than having foodstuffs and perishable goods supplied to them under the most hygienic conditions. With Fxididaire the possibility of con--tamiaation ceases to exist\ no germ can live where such a system as this is in operation; the. human element —the element of chance—is eliminated.
The mere fact of opening up a shop and displaying meat, small goods and s«ch like does not satisfy, nor does it necessarily mean that such goods are in. arty way fit for consumption. Nevertheless, the public have a right to demand that foodstuffs be served to them in such a manner that all possible danger of after effects shall be •eliminated.
Such a progressive firm as the Waijarapa Butchers Ltd., has been alive *o these facts and has installed JTrigidaire, the first of its kind in the Dominion, in their No. 8 Branch, Main Street, Lower Hutt, and in consequence are rapidly gaining the confidence and patronage of the community. Not only are local residents taking an interest, but many prominent city busimcss men have visited this speciallyfitted up shop in order to inspect this innovation. Messrs John Chambers and Son, Ltd. "Wellington, supplied and installed this JVigidaire plant.
