Mrs C. writes regarding the bus service and voices the off-heard complaint concerning the present system o£ '*' one-Avay" return tickets, and •stresses the. hardship that such a system is imposing uyon the working community, particularly .upon those men who have to work .overtime,, or who are employed so .far from .the JEtailway Station at Lambton ; that they cannot reach there in time to .catch a train on which their workers''weekly tickets .are available.
A suggestion and some interest is «oii,ta.ined in the letter ".A worker should be able to show.,the bus chdv.er his woekly train ticket and pay an additional sixjACiise for a jouimey to Lower H.utt.'' In conclusion .the writer make*? a plea for a .more frequent .direct service.
