The girls of Ohau school.are getting up a bazaar to raise money for patriotic purposes. An enthusiastic committee consisting oi Ivy Olson, Florrio Pickering, Lydia Hanlon, Miriam Herrick, Florrio Hanson (secretary), Gladys Daves, Olive Entwistie, Ohrissie Greig, Esma Hogg, Marjorie McLeavey, Dorothy Henderson and Hilda Ryrie are hard at work making audi collecting things to sell and doing the thousand and one things lioeossary tor the success of the function. Tiiey propose to Jtold it on Saturday, December 4th, in tho afternoon and evening. Many people of Ohau nave already promised i:> assist and the sale oi tickets is going on satisfactorily. Although tho children are getting assistance and advice from some or the grown-u.p peiplo they aro managing the a'ffair entirely by themselves. They" propose io have tour stalls, a refreshment bootn and numerous bran-tubs, guessing competitions, etc. Musical and _ other items will enliven the proceedings; so it should bo a very a.grooablo as well as a useful function.
