I'EILDING CHAAHiER OF COMMERCE RESOLUTIONS. Feildiug, This Hay. The Chamber of Commerce last night passed tho following resolutions. lhat in view of the urgent call by Lord Kitchener for moro men, and of the imperative need for substantial and thorough organisation in i\ew Zealand, a suggestion be conveyed to the Prime Minister that eteps might be taken lor the recall of General Daviee and his appointment as Minister of War in a National Ministry. That this Chamber regards with grave apprehension, the expressed intention of the Minister Finance to raise a portion of the ten million war loan in the Dominion, and is decidedly of tho opinion that the adoption of such a course will disturb greatly the local money market, hamper trade, retard agricultural and pastoral development, and seriously raise the mortgage and bank interest rates.
