Weraroa Sunday School Picnic.
A picnic organised by .Yin, Hanson on Easter .Monday was held in ;l clearing; about two miles from Hokio beach Quite a nuniber of adults from Went--roa and a few from Levin were present. Several local residents lent their vehicles to convey the children to the grounds. In the morning the children enjoyed the .sports provided lor .them under the direction of .Messrs Howell, McKain and Palmer. Tn the afternoon, game* wore arranged for -he little ones by Mks IWen and Miss Stealey. The adults also thoroughly enjoyed themselves in niinieroii.s ways. The names of the ladies who provided the refreshments are too numerous to mention. After tea the Rev. H. T. Stealey thanked all those who had mode the picnic so great a success.
