TIIK EASTEII TOURNAMENT,

The Levin Tennis Club's Easter Tournament was commenced on the local courts ou Saturday and continued yesterday. There was a good attendance oil both days, including many Otuki visitors, and some good games were witnessed. The weather vas line, though a couple of showers iate yesterday afternoon made things unpleasant. The officials of the c'ub had made excellent arrangements for the conduct of the tournament, md the comfort of visitors, and during the two days everything moved along without the slightest hitch. So far no finals have been played, but these are being played to-day, the third day of the tournament, when about twentyone games will be played, includ-ng semi-finals and finals. Judging by the games yesterday, and given good weather, to-day'.,s matches will provide some first-class games and close finishes.
