♦ [By uiii- Resident Representative.] The many friends of Air and Mrs Judd: of Kaipeno road', will regret to bear that Mrs Judd lias met with a very serious accident which may end fatally. Mr Judd was starting the engine just before milking when the methylated spirit ignited and burnt Airs .Judd very badly; her face and hands wore much scorched and she was also burnedi badly about the arms and breast. Mr Judd did all lie could, putting the lire out and sending for medical aid. Mrs Judd was removed to a private hospital in Palmerston North where she now lies in a very dangerous state. 'lhe Rev. J. A. Mckenzie has returned to Shannon after his visit to Wanganui. Mr Shearman had the misfortune to lose his little one who was horn on Christmas Day. The funeral took place 011 Saturday afternoon. The many friends of Mr Porter will be glad to hear that he is making good progress towards recovery from the effects of his accident at Koputaroa.
