Mr Monk is a farmer at Beikiorangi, and a member of the County Council for Te.Horo riding. Mr W. I)alzio]],of Koputaroa, had au unfortunate accident with his motor car at the Wangauui races on Thursday. Another car motored by a Maori collided with Mr Dalziell with the result that hitf car was badly damaged and the occupants severely shaken.
