THE FOLLIES. "The Follies"—a merry band of entertainers whose name has now become a household word throughout New Zeal-ami—will make its initial bow before Levin audiences on Monday evening next. 2nd June. "The Follies'' have been touring New Zealand for twenty-seven consecutive weeks, and have given their delightful entertainment in all four centres, included in which was a week's season at the Opera House. Wellington, and two weeks at the Town Hall. Wellington, where their perfornrances were witnessed by crowds of people, including vice-regal mud ministerial parties. Their Levin programme will be exactly the same as Wellington. Popular prices will lie charged. TOWN HALL. On Tuesday next. June 3rd. the Bevan Proprietary will .show pictures in Levin: also on Saturday I here will be an afternoon performance next Saturday, at which the best of their pictures will be displayed. This proprietary has secured Mr A. E. Schlager Hate biograph operator at the King's Theatre) and whose capabilities as an operator are woll known to the public. The quality of the projection at last night's display was the subject of favourable comment. Mr Rcvan has engaged a full lyric or-' ehestra to accompany the pictures. The "star" tilm to be exhibited on Tuesday next is entitled "The Mystery of the Hansom Cab." Tt is a story of Melbourne life, and is 1000 feet in length. The young folk will be catered for on Tuesday afternoon ''King's Birthday). KTXG'S THEATRE. A typical racing film, entitled "Ihe Cup Winner.'' is to he shown next Monday at the King'w Theatre. Tt is said to be "resplendent in exciting incidents surrounding the race for tho Melbourne Cup; introducing a full measure of romantic ■and dramatic episodes.'' The prices of admission will be as usual (Is and fid), and an orchestra under Mr "Joe" Kearslev will play appro priate music. A first-class supporting programme is promised.
