LEVIN A (3) v. LEVIN 13 (2). These two local teams met on tho recreation ground yesterday. Way was exciting from first to last, and the A's only won after one of tho hardest games seen here. Tho 13's made things •'willing" from tho start, and from a good rush Lloyd scored. Levin A. equalised matters later on, when A. Smart eliot a splendid goal that left them even at half time. On changing round the ITs were the first to score, Winter doing the trick. From then on to the end Levin A scored twice through the medium of Toll a Winiata, and that left tho older team the winners by one goal. Mr Hugh Hall refereed. OTAKI (2) v. MOUTOA (1). This also proved a very interesting game, and it was only after a very hard tussle that Otaki won. For Otaki H. Furgcson and I). Wilson scored, I'eni doing the same for Motitoa. ■Shannon ('.)) v. Y..M.C.A. (1). Raliui 01) v. To Horo (0). LADIES. Otaki ((!) v. Shannon (0). This match was played at Levin, and it was a one-sided affair, Otaki beating their opponents easily.
