Levin Lands Acquired.
— 9 FOR CLOSER SETTLEMENT. The Government has acquired a block of 600 acres of land at Levin for purposes of closer settlement (says the Dominion). The whole of the area consists of first-class land, suitable for dairying or for growing any variety of crop. It : s expected that the block will out into at least seven farms. Delivery of the land will bo given at the end of August next.
