To the Editor Sir,—Will you permit mo to raise the question of getting a fire brigade at Shannon? .1 am suro the town would bo safer for such a hotly, and I am sure too that our .voting men would ho nil the hotter for having such a. body to belong to and to give them the chance of getting discipline. There is uot one public institution in Shannon if wo except the debating society, which is not a nice confession to ma lee.--Yours, otc..
