Coastal Shipping. Trouble.

MELSON, October 2. Unless the coastal shipping trouble is settled within two oi: three days it is probable that the whole of the Anchor fleet will be laid up. The campaaiy has arranged for the completion of several trips, 'but all the vessels on their return to Nelson will be paid up pending settlement. It is rumoured that the Union Steamship Company's officers may strike in sympathy with those on the .small vessels, although they arc not affected by the Arbitration Court award.
