In the Supremo Court to-day the Chief Justice heard the appeal of the local Borough Council against tho Magistrate's decision that tho > Opera House, where tho municipal pictures are shown, was "a factory." under The Factories' Act. After legal argument, his Honour reserved his decision, remarking that at present it did not seem to him that an offence had been committed under the Act.
