At a special meeting of the iWowhenua Coiuity Council, this mornillsj;. tlio following rates wo.ro .struck in tilt* respective ridings of the eouut.v tor the period I'rotn the Ist of April, I!' 10. io March lilst, IHll : Tokoinaru ruling, a general rate ol ?,d in the C. ami a .separate rate of 1-15(1 in the C; Wirokino riding, a general rate of £d in the C, and a separate rate of 1-1 "xl in the G. In the Otiki riding a general rate of :'!d in the C. and n separate rate of 1-lod in .the I lithe To Horo riding a general rate of 1 l-12d in the C\ and a .separate rate of 1-I'Jd in the C: all upon the capital value of all the rateable properties in the respective ridings, .and payable on the Ist day of June. 1910. The rate hooks will ho open for inspection during odice hours.
