♦ —— WELLINGTON, T'njs Day. Wires have been delayed through the line being interrupted on Kridaj. TI.MAUU, This Day. A heavy gale blew last night and tho brick wall of the Farmers' Cooperative Association's buildings, which were recently destroyed by firo, was blown down. A considerable «monlit of damage has been done to gardens, and some boats in tho harbour broke away from their moorings, but escaped without damage. OAMARU, This Day During last night the wind blew with hurricane force, from northwost, but without much damage re suiting. It then veered round to south-west, followed by cold rain this morning Tho surrounding hills are covered with snow. DfJNEDIN, This Day A gale blew for several hours during the night, and there was a light fall of snow this morning. INYERCARGILL, This Day. Very heavy rain, with snow and Iwn'l, has been falling here, since mkVnight. The rivers fall over Southland are rising fast, particularly the Waiaii. Oreti and Mn.|n urn. There is no signs of it clearing.
