The Star's Xgtinguru correspondent telegraphs th«t early this morning a man named Henry .James Hansen, who has apparently lost his reason, armed with a shot gun and •ammunition broke into a. room occupied by his three sons and opened fire upon them. He fired throe shots. Arthur Hansen received slight injuries on one of his thighs. Another son fled through n window, and the other escaped by the door uninjured. The injured boy was removed to Whangarei Hospital. Hansen, senior, is a storekeeper, aged fifty-one, and owns valuable property in the district.
