MELBOURNE, This Day. At the inquest on Crabtree, the victim of the Brunswick explosion, Mrs Orabtree deposed that she liad no knowledge that her husband contemplated any felony. She askod him at tho hospital to tell her tho ■truth, but it is doubtful if he did so in his dying statement. He declared that Shaw bought stuff and set it afire. Shaw was practically a partner with her husband. She added her husband bought dummy stock some, time ago, <*msistiiig of empty jam tins and bars of wooden soap, and placed them in the wrecked shop; Another witness deposed selling Crabtree four gallons each of methylated spirits and benzine five days before the fire.
