The trouble has arisen over the demand of the Federated Meat Workers Union for a new wages log. The Wages Board recently gave the men an increase of 20 per cent. Tt is stated that the Union demands a further increase of ainnit 30 per cent. Several hundred men are out, and it is feared the trouble will spread. CRICKET. MELBOURNE, This Day.
