The aiiniKil meeting of parishioners for the election of n vestry assembled lit Ven. Bale's, Shannon, on Saturday, 9th April, at 7.30 p.m. The vicar, Rev. S. 0. Compton, presided. A satisfactory balance-sheet was presented, by the, retiring vicar's clinrclnvardeii, Mr .1. 0. Halehelni , , which was adopted. The following church ffiecers were elected: Mr AY. If. Gunning, vicar's churchwarden, and Mr Knowles, people's clmrchwardcii ; vestry, .Messrs Hatchelor, lessen, Kxall, G. Harris, Linsell, Johnson and C. B. Robinsoiii. The cliairiiian reported thai; the matter of a font was being 'attended to by him. and Mr Gunning mentioned that the church fence would he erected shortly. Mr C. V. Exall was re-elected secretary to the \T«trv.
