From the various conversations of the. afternoon it was well noted that Mrs Uirss will Ik 1 very much missed in nil circles of Levin, she having spent some years amongst us now, and having been always ready with her valuable as distance when any works of charity were to he helped. Airs Birss hn.s inaugurated several very good concert"; in Levin, and thanks to her the Levin people have had the opportunity of hearing very fine taient that under other circumstances they would have had to journey to the centres to hear.
