RIFLE SHOOTING.
On Saturday afternoon the Defence Rifle Club fired • the third competition for Messrs A. T. Fenton's. \Y. M. Clark's and T. JlMlmaii's trophies. The (lay was fine, lint smoke from log fires near the targets, and a wind that, hlew right, across the ranee, made it very difficult for shooting.
