MAHORA CLUB'S OPENING.
A RECORD ATTENDANCE.
The Mahora Swimming and Lifesaving Club held their opening carnival last evening and were greeted with a record attendance. The chairman, Mr. W. Horne, thanked those present and*< then introduced the president of the club, Mr, G. A. Maddison.
After congratulating the club on its last season’s success. Mr. Maddison referred to the premier position held by the district in regard to the number of proficiency. certificates Sained. The Mayor then declared le season opened. The following is the result of the
