A Miss Victoria Woodhull, of NewYork, has nominated herself as candidate for President of the United States at the next vacancy. She is oiie of the editors of " Woodhnil's and Claflin's Weekly," the oi'gan of women's rights, free lore, and anti-Christianity. Miss Woodhull has not always been Miss—she was once Mrs, but her peculiar doctrines were incompatible with matrimonial relations, and she has now adopted the "fiee ticket." A mosquito taper is a Pittsburg invention. It creates such a smell while burning that mosquitos ask to be excused. It drives 'human beings outdoors also, which is its only defect.
