The s.s. Kcera, Capt. Carey, from the South, brought up in the roadstead shortly after LO o'clock last night, and entered the Iron Pot this morning. She left Port Chalmers at 4 a.m. on the 23rd inst., and arrived at Oamavu at 10 a.m.; left Oamaru at 5 p.m. the same day, and arrived at Lyttelton at 3 p m. on the 24th; left Lyttelton'at Ip.m. on the 25ih, and arrived at Wellington at 9 p.m. on the 26th ; left Wellington at 6.30 p.m. on the 27th, and arrived here as above. From Part Chalmers to Lyttelton experienced fine weather ; from Lyttelton to Wellington a strong N.W. wind and heavy sea j and from Wellington to this port fine weather. —The Eeera will steam hence for Poverty Bay, Taurasiga, and Auckland at 7 o'clock to-night. The s.s. Napier, Capt. Bendall, arrived in the roadstead at 11 o'clock last night, and entered the Iron Pot this morning. She left Napier at midnight on Monday, and arrived at Wairoa at 5 a.m. on Tuesday : landed pas sengers, and left at 8 a.m. ; called in at Wakamai and shipped 86 bales wool, and arrived here as above. The schooner Hero, Campbell, master, arrived in harbor at 10 o'clock this morning, bringing 19 bales wool. She left Wairoa at 7 o'clock yesterday morning, and experienced light E. and S.E. wiuds on the passage. The ketch Mary Ann Hudson, K. Baxter, master, arrived in the roadstead at 10.30 this morning, from Wairoa, which place she left fit 8 a.m. yesterday. Cargo ; 5 bale 3 wool. The schooner Onehunga, 61 tons, Captain Crouch, with a general cargo, left Dunedin for Napier on the 21st November. The repairs to the s.s. Bangatira having been completed, that steamer left Wellington for the South on Monday 'last. She may be expected to arrive here on or about the 7th December. The three-masted schooner Bifleman is supposed to be lost. She left Lyttelton for Havelock (Marlborough) on the 10th inst., and was seen in Cook's Straits during a heavy gale. She has not since been heard of. H.M.S. Basilisk, 4 guns, Capt. Moresby, arrived at Wellington at 9 o'clock on Sunday night, from Lyttelton. 1 The ships Halcione and Electra and the barque Annie are at present loading at; Wellington with wool, flax, &c , for London direct.
