RECHABITISM : OPENING OF ANOTHER TENT IN THIS PROVINCE.

A new tent in connection with the New Zealand District of the Independent Order of Rechabites was opened at Vernon, "Waipivkurau, on Tuesday evening last, Ist August. The ceremony was performed by Brother Levy, P.C.R. of the Hope of Wellington Tent, assisted by Brothers Sowry and Denton. The name chosen for the new Tent was " The Lily of the Valley,'' and the following are the officers for the first half-year : Brother Lew, P.C.R. ■ A. Harding, C.R ; G. Pilcher, D.R.; J. Sowry, Secretary; T. Boyle, Levite; J. J. Morel in, Guardian; J. Whittaker, B.S. ; J. Harding, C.S ; and A. Harding, Treasurer. This now makes the third Recliabite Tent in the Province of Hawke's Bay.
