Friday, July 14. The head chief at Otaki has called upon ajl tribes interested in the disputed land question to assemble at Otaki and discuss the matter. From the tenor of his communication there appears to be imminent probability of all the tribes on the coast being involved in the dispute. The Otaki tribes wish for an amicable settlement; otherwise, war to the knife.
