QUERY.
To the Editor of the Hawke's Bay Times. Sir,—Perhaps yourself or some of your readers can tell me if the Government has power to prevent at this time such letters being published as one which appeared in the Herald of the 13rh inst. 1 I imagine it has such power, if not legally at least morally, as the paper is no doubt under great obligations to several of the Executive. If I am mistaken T should like to be put right,—Yours, &c,, A Country Resident Who has no wish to take his family to Napier. March 13, 1869.
