GOLD EXPORT FOll THE MONTH,

(From the Daily Southern Cross, 15tli M&roh.) The amount of gold exported during the month has been 12,095 ozs, valued at £31,911 ss, which lift Auckland by tha fine ship Countess of Kintore, on Thursday last, for London direct - . Of thi3 7,522 ozs. were exported by the Union Bank of Australia, 4,173 ozs by the Bank of Australasia, and 1,000 ozs. by the Bank of New South Walts. The Bank of New Zealand did not export any by the Countess, but we understand there is a considerable amount on hand for future export. There is also some on hand at the o'her Auckland banks, as well as in the branch banks at Shortland.
