SIR GEORGE AND LADY BOWEN.

As mentioned in our Monday’s impression, Lady Bowen was a passenger by the s.s. ‘Wellington,’ which arrived from Auckland on Sunday evening. It was fully expected that her Ladyship would land on Monday morning; and a large number of people assembled on the Eastern Spit during the forenoon. But they were disappointed ; as, from indisposition. Lady Bowen was prevented from landing. We hope, however, at some not very distant date, to be honored by a visit from her ladyship. The arrival in Napier of his Excellency Sir George Bowen may be looked for to-day or to-morrow, and we expect that his reception will be a cordial one.
